This beach is one of the finest on the whole island. Its name means ´land of fig-trees` because in the area there are fields full of these fruit trees. The beach is formed by two adjoining beaches which are separated by a small spit of land which is connected to the coast by a strip of sand. The beach is ideal for families and offers a range of nautical activities. The beach has been awarded the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certificate.
Location: Located 10 kilometres from Santa Eulària.
Access: From Sant Carles along the road towards the northern part of the centre of town following the road signs.
Dimensions: Measuring some 400 meters in length, it varies between 40 and 50 metres wide.
Type: It has fine, dark and natural coloured sands alternating with rocky zones. The seabed alternates between sandy and rocky areas.
Services: Located in an area combining residential properties and tourist accommodation, the beach has a wide range of services including disabled parking, disabled toilet facilities and access, restaurants, shopping, boardwalks, showers, foot showers, lifeguardservices, paddle surf, canoes, pedaloes, sunbeds and umbrellas.
