Whether it’s picking out a gift for your friends and family, buying yourself a memento of Ibiza, or getting some item that you forgot to pack, the streets and plazas of Santa Eulària are lined with shops of all kinds. And, if you’re in the market for artwork, you’ll also find several art galleries offering a broad range of styles authored by local, national, and international artists.
Markets: Add the flavours of Ibiza to your shopping cart
Herbal liqueur (hierbas ibicencas), jams and marmalades, traditional breads, seasonal fruits and vegetables, surprising delights made from carob, typical sweets, honey, cheeses, salt, sobrassada and other sausages…the list goes on. At the municipal farmers’ market, Es Mercat, you can buy gastronomic products made in Ibiza. Browse around its fishmonger stalls, its butcher stalls, its greengrocers, delicatessens and bakeries, and as you do, sample the flavours of our island.
Other shopping opportunities to jot in your agenda
Throughout the year, the town of Santa Eulalia hosts several events related to shopping and commerce. One of these retail events is the Stock Fair, held every April and October on the third Saturday of the month, for the purpose of selling off remaining stock – fashion, footwear, IT, décor, accessories, etc. – at reduced rates. Another is the Craft Fair, held every February on Santa Eulalia’s Puig de Missa as part of the patron saint festivities. And, of course, there’s the long-established Santa Eulalia hippie market, held daily on s’Alamera Promenade during the summer months.
