Your trip starts here. Take the first step toward discovering our treasures
Improvising is easy to do in Ibiza, but it’s actually better to know in advance how to get here and how to move around. For example, are you going to make landfall on the island by sea or by air? Would you rather explore the island in your own vehicle, on public transport, or by hiring a rental car or motorbike? Choose the pace you want for your holiday and take another step towards enjoying our Mediterranean paradise.
The municipality of Santa Eulària des Riu covers the eastern-central part of the island. Its capital, Santa Eulària, is located 22 km from the airport and 15 km from Ibiza Town’s seaport, the two portals of entry to the island used by commercial transport companies. Measuring barely 570 km2, the island’s distances are pint-sized, allowing visitors to travel to the north, south and west in a short time, for which reason diverse excursions will fit into a single day. So, don’t put the brakes on moving around during your holiday.

The majority of flights run from April to October, with the primary Spanish connexions, along with certain European links, remaining operative in winter, too.
