The natural treasures of Ibiza and the municipality of Santa Eulària des Riu, as evidenced in the species that inhabit our land and our seafloor, are part of our identity as a territory and as a travel destination. They are an asset of incalculable value which we have inherited as a collective, residents and visitors alike, and of which we are but temporary custodians. It is for this reason that our commitment to the environment and sustainability is one of the pillars of our touristic and general management in Santa Eulària des Riu, along with ensuring a proper quality of life for both citizens and tourists. The sustainability of Santa Eulària’s beaches

The environmental management of Santa Eulària endeavours to keep the quality and cleanliness of our beaches and coves in accord with proposed standards of safety and sanitation. In pursuit of this goal we place special importance on protecting the meadows of Posidonia oceanica and making known the ecological importance of this marine ecosystem, one of Ibiza’s most valuable natural treasures. Moreover, Santa Eulària is home to Ibiza’s first beach where it is forbidden to smoke (non-smoking beach): the Santa Eulària beach.

A coastline open to all

The diversity of beaches and coves along our coastline allows you to find the ideal beach for you or someone in your party who may need assistance getting into the sea. In our municipality, the beaches with a universal accessibility flag (Santa Eulària and Cala Llonga) ensure that you will spend a rewarding day at the seaside. And if you’re travelling with your pet, in our municipality you will also find beaches and dog parks where you can go with your canine companion.
