Once again this year, the Deià International Music Festival comes to Ibiza. Italian artist Gino Castelli and his band will be the stars of a night that will remain in the memories of many.
As the title of the recital indicates, Castelli will amaze us with a repertoire made up of 'the Italian song of always'. The concert will take place on the 28th of April in the Ibiza Congress Centre, in Santa Eulària, at 7 pm.
Tickets have a donation price of 20 euros and can be purchased on the festival's official website (https://dimfentradas.com).
You can also get yours one hour before the concert at the Ibiza Congress Centre in Santa Eulària.
All the proceeds will go to support the projects and programmes that APNEEF develops in the Pitiusas Islands.
GINO CASTELLI
Born in Palermo, the pianist, singer and composer represented Italy twice at the 'Viña del Mar' Festival in Chile.
Between 1989 and 2008 he released several successful albums and has worked as a backing band and musical director for artists and groups such as Umberto Tozzi and Modern Talking.
Terra mia' is his latest work, a very personal story that he performs for the first time in Sicilian dialect.
THE FESTIVAL
The Deià International Music Festival, devoted to chamber music, has been held in Son Marroig on the island of Mallorca since 1978.
The programme of this prestigious event includes a wide range of concerts, with the participation of numerous performers, groups and composers, both national and international. The performances take place in different venues located between Deià and Valldemossa, such as the former estate of Archduke Ludwig of Habsburg, the monastery of Miramar and the church of Deià.
Thanks to the social commitment of Alfredo Oyágüez and Rafael Cavestany, promoters of the charity event, Ibiza and Formentera can enjoy the extraordinary concerts and thus contribute to a charitable purpose.
