The Department of Equality of the Santa Eulària des Riu Town Council has organised a series of free activities to celebrate 25th November, International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. Among the proposals are a self-defence workshop (the only activity that requires prior registration), theatre, audiovisual projections and, of course, the reading of a manifesto along with a minute's silence in memory of all the women who have died in male aggressions.
