The next destination on the route does not require you to get in the car yet, since it is only 700 meters from Can Ros. A short walk that brings you closer to another of the valuable heritage elements of Santa Eulària des Riu: the old Molí de Dalt, whose name in Catalan means the mill above.
Hosted in the premises of a country house located at the foot of Puig de Missa and on the banks of the only river in the Balearic Islands, this water mill is one of the four that existed in the municipality to grind grain, an activity that gave prosperity to the town for a long time.
The visit to the Can Planetes River Interpretation Center will undoubtedly be an interesting complement to Can Ros, since inside you can not only observe the characteristic elements of Ibizan architecture but also the operation of the mill, which was Carefully restored in 2011 after four decades of inactivity. Furthermore, on the outside the canal system that connected the house with the river is still preserved, as well as the irrigation ditches that irrigated the riverside gardens. You will be able to learn more about the milling past of Santa Eulària des Riu thanks to the information panels in the center and those installed along the promenade that connects this enclave with the next stop on the route: the Pont Vell.

Curiosities
Each mill in the town had a specific schedule for using the river water. In the case of Can Planetes, the wheel turned on Mondays and Fridays, from dawn to dusk. The water from the Santa Eulària des Riu river was also used to produce rice at the end of the 19th century, a practice that was later banned to prevent the spread of mosquito-borne diseases.
